Taryn has been a member of the Total Rehab family since 2007. She graduated from the University of the West Indies Mona campus in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy with Honors. On returning home she worked at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for five years. During that time she worked on the medical wards, surgical wards, I.C.U, and the out-patient department.
Her portfolio included patients with varying cardiovascular disorders, muscular dystrophies, neurological conditions, and orthopaedic conditions. It was at this time she realized her passion for treating patients with neurological ailments.
Her preferred case load would include cerebrovascular accidents and Guillian Barre Syndrome to name a few.
Taryn enjoys the challenges that are associated with a long term illness and seeing the functional progress a patient achieves. After practicing Physiotherapy for many years Taryn is still as committed and excited to help others as the day she first started working.
Her motivation and determination to achieving set goals is the reason why her patients see results.
